Porsche is holding no punches. Following this mornings web debut with initial video of the much anticipated 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS facelift, we now have a second video aptly titled Extreme Truth. With a heightened sense of drama we get to witness some pure driving action from Stuttgart’s latest hyper car.

funny to read all the comments about this and that car are faster than the Porsche GT3. cars in action did a nice compare to show the internet factory laptime racer were the different between a Porsche and the other, they raced 10laps with each car, all droped dramaticly in laptime performance after the third lap, only the Porsche drove one quick lap after the other without brake fade or overheating engine and transmissions, there is the price different between a Porsche and the ZR1 GTR bargain

Actually the GT2 when dynoed has around 490whp or 570hp, and has way more trq that whats claimed.

how is Porsche lost again ??? see how the GT2 fucked up the ZO6 …..
7L V8 to produce only 505Hp
3.8L flat six to produce 530Hp
Porsche is the best maker you like it or not nobody cares

Ist hier einer, der eine ZR1 oder einen GTR hat? Ich denke nicht, aber alles Rennfahrer hier und nur auf Bestzeit unterwegs.
Wir können das gerne mal auf der Nordschleife testen. Ich nehme dann Muttis GT2, den sie sonst immer nur zum einkaufen fährt, weil man hinten noch ein paar Einkaufstüten extra reinbekommt. Was ihr fahrt ist mir egal.

. Fact is that both cars are very good and the GTR too.
I think the weather was guilty fot the bad times on TV
But i have no one of these cars and i don`t can tell you witch car is realy better to drive. When money is no problem,i want to have all three.

Both cars BONE stock! And both Nissan and GM stand by there times! Nissan had a F1 driver, and GM had Jim Mero ( ex pro driver) who has been around the ring 1500 times! They have the proof!

Sorry i lookes wrong.Right is 7.26for both cars (ZR1 and GTR) .But the driver who drived the times i give is a very good driver and famous in Germany.Are the cars stock on official lap time ? No one can drive a 7.26 time in both cars(stock).
I only want to tell you what i saw and read.
And you got right,proof is only pudding.:-)

@werner353 The ZR1 did a 7.26.4 at the Ring. The NIssan GTR did 7.26.7. That TV test driver couldnt get faster than 7.38 in Both cars! The Videos are there to watch for both Official lap times. Proof is in the Pudding, and the videos show it all. NIssan Laughed at the TV drivers time!

Sorry guy,but a TV carshow with a racedriver tested a ZR1 and the GT2 on the green hell (Nordschleife) the ZR1 time: 7.38 min / GT2 time 7.33. GM says that the ZR1 make a 7.29 time but in the TV they said that isn`t possible.The ZR 1 ist jumping on the track and the rear tires are in the air at difficult points. But the ZR1 looks great and like a shark. Sound is better too. Sorry for written mistakes.

Fuckoff!! its YT not grammer school? The ZR1 is faster than any production Porsche at the Ring Period! The GT2 just lost again when Porsche Excellence mag tested the two this year. Truth hurts… and for half the price! But i do think the GT2 in person is very nice. Plus its an animal, and with tuning its a beast!

PLEASE stop clogging the comments on ALL car vids with comments that shit on the subject of the vid just because its not a zr1, fanboys. Yes the zr1 is a beast, yes it kicks the ass of many a super car, yes it is great speed for the money and its American made, But preferences exist for a reason, so let us have our favorites without flaming or hate.

Your so stupid i cant believe it?? Actually the ZR1 is faster thah any 911 in the 1/4 mile. The fastest recorded time ON video in a stock ZR1 is 10.73! And the GT2 lost again when a PORSCHE mag tested the ZR1 vs GT2 LOL.
Also 60% of the ZR1s body is Carbon fiber you stupid fuck?
