At first when the Panamera came out, I thought it was an ugly Porsche, but now I actually really like the car, the design doesnt seem to get boring very quick.

I love that Porsche! It’s fantastically German – they’ve just decided what they wanted to do, and did it. Zero compromise. They then put a body over it, which I actually like in terms of style because it’s function first, and that’s that.
The Aston seems to have pointless rear seats. So why bother. Buy your sports car, then buy your real car.
What’s with the obsession of the ‘one car for all outcomes’ bullshit anyway? Just have 2. My, that was easy…

Here’s the bottom line. Aston is referring to this car as ” A 4 door sports car” which is fine. When you put four doors on a car that normally means you want to transport more than 2 people “comfortably” Other than having graceful lines it fails miserably as sports car and being able to transport 4 people comfortably when compared to the Porsche. When a company creates a vehicle that winds up being the fastest 4 door car around Nurburgring you wonder how Auto Car can claim the Astons more fun.

Idk if I would say the Porsche was ugly… I mean the Aston Martin does look good but the porsche really doesn’t look too bad either. The aston Martin almost looks like a 2 door car from the side

this review is an absolute load of toot! the panamera dominates the ‘rapide’ hands down and to say the porsche is ugly in comparison with the ‘beautiful’ rapide is nonsense as well, at the end of the day they are both stretched out versions of their 2 door cars, i don’t think the aston is any better looking

if want to race you take the panamera, but if you are intelligent enough you take buy a real supercar for the track and the rapide for the way home

I’m British, but I’m sorry the Porsche is clearly the better car. I’ve seen men sit in the back of the Rapide, VERY tight fit, which would’ve been understandable if the performance of the thing was better than the Panamera, but it definitely isn’t, not only that, for the Aston you have to pay more for a car with less quality, less space and less performance.

I mean what the point of the rapide i mean I adore astons but whats the point of a car that’s supposed to compete with a good sized 4seater where the people in the back fit in nicely.
And the rapide has back seats but nobody will fit in them, i mean common at the very least get that wright aston

An Aston Martin is a luxury sports car, Porsche is all about sport. It all comes down to taste.
The Panamera has 4WD and more HP, it was an attempt to even those out.
Don’t need to brag about how fast you are? Care more about exquisite design and style? Buy the Aston.
